Hey guys, newbie here. just ordered my 2012 650xi in Carbon Black on Cinnamon Brown, and can't wait for it to get here. This forum has been very helpful in all the aspects. Would like to see some pictures of Cinnamon Brown Interior on the 6 series.

Your order looks great! You picked some great options, especially xDrive, M Sport, and full LEDs. They make for an astonishingly beautiful and aggressive car. I've got three different threads on the first page or two of this forum with a bunch of pics and some of my thoughts about several of the options you selected. Can't wait to see your completed car. Good luck with the wait... roughest 2.5 months of my life.

Dealership said it should be here by the end of April or beginning of May.

A very good friend of mine works at the dealership so I got a pretty good deal i think.

And I was able to get them to throw in wheel and tire insurance in that price.

Wow, that is a full load, should be real nice. It seems to take longer for other guys here on this site for delivery? If yours is true???. then that'll be cool. Most is 4 months or more??

Hey guys i also ordered a 650i 2 weeks ago through a leasing company. they took down payment. when i asked leasing company agent for production number he told me the car was in the order bank.. does anyone know what exactly that means? Thanks

They should still have a production # at that point. When I called the number to check, I plugged in my production #, and it said "processing order, awaiting production." I'd imagine that's where you're at. Your CA should be able to give you that # within a couple days of signing the papers.

i dont know what to do. he told me car is in order bank and when the dealership gets more ordering slots i will get a production number. he assures me i should have it by latest end of june. just worried i might miss the whole summer waiting.

Oh, that sucks. There's apparently some weird stuff going on with 6er production. Good luck!
