Top work!

As your car is remapped do you ever get the ESP kicking in too much when accelerating? I ask as my car is chipped and often when accelerating hard even in 3rd or 4th the ESP really seems to intervene and restrict power. I also get the rear brakes intervening even though I am 1) not close enough to losing traction and 2) even with the ESP off

I need to back of the throttle slightly and then mash it again... frustrating as the power is there but I know the 'car' is intervening.

Cheers bud, I find mine very good with traction it only cuts in if going fast on a roundabout or in the wet. It's the way they mapped it I think as all of my power is pretty much useable which makes it faster than higher bhp maps.
Is your car running a box or did u have it remapped?

I'm getting the JFA Blend tune on Monday morning. (Same as yours I think) Getting it done at the Scottish dealer location as I'll be up there for the weekend. Should be a fun drive back!

Awesome stuff Dan! Is the M3 modified/ chipped ? Looked stock

Also, is the M3 a manual ?

Tempted to do a remap myself but worried about premature component failures. Do you have/ know if it would invalidate the Mondial Warranty ?

Is it about £400 right ?

The m3 was remapped also.
Not sure on your warranty tbh bud. But it certainly transforms the 640d :-)

If I get a dyno run it'll be another time at another place. Only their Kent place has the dyno, and I'll be in Scotland, getting it done at their Motherwell dealer location. I would've liked to have the before / after dyno sheet, but as I'm driving past this location it seems daft not to use them for the remap, as the Kent location is 5hrs drive from my house anyway, and none of their other locations are any closer to me.

It would definitely invalidate your warranty if detected

Dan - dammmmm that's a nice victory, I'm guessing your cars nearer 4.5 to 60 now then. Couldn't really see how far you were ahead at the end, did he pull it back a bit at the finish?

Oh and did you use launch control ??

I tried it the other day but can't get it to work, I just end up revving the balls out of the car

Hey mate that was his best run and my worst run.
Yeah it's 4.4 secs to 60mph now and on that run I won by 0.4 secs and he didn't really pull back either. I'll post up the other races

Depends what year. My 2012 hasn't got it but it can be coded to add it. Think 2014 onwards have it as standard.

Yeah it's a chip tuning box which was quite pricy. Might try and alter the settings to tone it down as it adds 75bhp as standard.

I'd rather not remap due to warranty etc.

Bloody potent when it all hooks up and grip off the line is epic.

Which box did you go for? Have you had any coding done yet?
