I think the Post forums have pretty decent traffic. But remember that the 6 is a relatively rare vehicle compared to the numbers of other models sold. So there's going to be less people participating compared to the other modem forums. Check out the other Post forums. 5 series, 7 series, etc.
I have the ceramic controls on my 650i. I'll see if I can take a picture of them later today. |

Here are some pics of the ceramic controls on my MY12. Should be about the same other than the "CD" button will say "Media," and the touch pad iDrive controller has a slightly larger diameter (saw one on a MY14 7er yesterday at the dealership).

Those are good pics. Also, the climate control knobs in both the front and back are ceramic. And I think the volume knob might be ceramic too.

Dammit - I was hoping that would slide.
My weekly washing has slowed to every other week, and there have been a few times the brake dust on my rims has been disgraceful. Luckily my apartment has a garage that buys me a little extra protection from the pollen and dust.

The ceramic controls are awesome, and provide a nice, smooth metallic feel as opposed to the stock plastic feel. The only problem: after they have been sitting in the sun they will get really hot!
