Best Add-Ons?

I know this is a massively open ended question, but being new to the M6 world, I figured I would ask what you guys consider the best/most common accessories, mods, and upgrades?

I'm going with carbon kidney grills, will hardware my Escort in (as soon as the dealer gives me back my hardwire kit I left in my trade-in - oops!). Longer term I'm eyeing the Dinan stage 1 ECU. Wheels and exhaust would be nice but are $$ and may be a while out.

I'd be interested in hearing whatever you guys think is useful: from the smallest DIY convenience mod, to the best performance/handling improvement, to the most stylish exterior mod.

The cheapest upgrade is 305/30/20 Michelin PSS on rear tires

The IND cosmetic kit is an inexpensive enhancement. You get kidney, side markers, and front/rear reflector delete.

As for the tune goes DINAN is an option but you could save yourself some cash and go with a Burger JB4 tune for 1/7th the cost.

Lowering the car is another relatively inexpensive mod. You can go with the H&R springs or if you want to step it up a notch for a better ride go with KW HAS Kit.

Wheels, exhaust, and nice carbon fiber pieces are going to get pricey (as you mentioned).

The dealer installed the carbon fiber Performance spoiler on my GC.....I think it looks great on a black car (or any for that matter). I think it's $600-700 but well worth it.

I've done carbon fiber spoiler from Vorsteiner, Rear Diffuser+Exhaust Splitters from 3DDesign, carbon fiber side markers and front grille from IND, lowering springs from H&R, wheels from ADV1, M Performance Exhaust with CF tips from BMW/Akrapovic. Aside from the tips on my exhaust I've stayed away from BMW's M performance part because its all 2x2 weave which matches the CF parts in the interior but not our roofs which are 1x1 weave. I dunno, I'm picky like that.

Great info! Thanks! Anyone know where I can get good quality side markers with white LEDs (instead of the orange)? The IND ones seems to use stock LED lights..

Picture finally uploaded... I think... The IND carbon side markers are pretty good. The CF weave matches the roof spot on. I don't think you'll find it with an LED though. They do give you the option to tint the light.
