I would rebuild. You never know what kind of problems you are going to get with a used motor. At least after being rebuilt you know it's good and if there are any issues with the build usually the shop will give you a 12-24 month warranty on the engine. Add all those things up and rebuilding is usually better than a used motor. What happened to your motor? Do you know if the block is ok?

I own the car for less then 6 months some how the car barely had oil and the motor just lock on me, im guessin the block should be fine im crossing my fingers! The motor had 45k miles, the car was wreck and it had the oil sensor desconnected so thats why we didnt knw the oil was low, just a headeche man any used motor cost more thn 10k with over 50k miles

Anybody has any idea how long or how many hrs does it take to take the motor out?i beleive is cheaper rebuilding the motor too cus 10500 for a used motor with 71k miles is still alot for that mutch miles

1 day, but a builder that is very familiar 4 hours, they drop it right out the bottom

Like kong24680 said, I have this 2013 year model motor with 36k miles,the good thing about this particular motor is that I knew the owner of the car it came from personally for many years prior to accident, not a Fast driving kid he just loved to drop the top and cruise, his car was bone stock with not even one modification to the car,so that's why I highly recommends this motor. Rebuilding is great also just make sure the mechanic doing the job have a lot of experience, and if your gonna rebuild you might as well upgrade the internals for more power.

Anybody has any info on renuilding the motor? Any tips? Any suggestions? Just wondering whats best now that the motor will be out, nothing crazy pls any help is really appreciatted
