belt tensioner bouncing around

Hey everyone, I’m new here and I recently bought a used 640i grancoupe. Any second opinions on this? The belt tensioner looks loose and is making a clicking noise on idle. It was just recently replaced and not sure if it should be doing this. I tried uploading a video but I think it might’ve just been an image.

As a general matter, no, it should not be clicking. But we can't hear it. But an idler is just a bearing. A bearing in new condition should be silent.

The noise is coming from the belt tensioner it sounds like. The mechanic is telling me it’s normal but I wanted to get a second opinion
