BMW rear pads “CK230” hardware question

Happy Labor Day (in US)!
Can anyone explain the logic behind the hardware package that comes with BMW rear brake pads? It comes with four caliper bolts, each with a touch of threadlocker, but only TWO guide clips. And WHAT are they talking about on the label? They are not rubber.

Label states
“CK 230
The rubber guide springs must always be mounted in the direction of the disc outlet during forward driving”

Specifically, pad set part number BMW-34216857805, but likely with many sets.
This has been bugging me since I changed the brakes in July. No, it’s not a mistake. Had parts guy at dealership open a box to compare. Photo attached.

I much prefer Mike’s video. He edits PNs and torque specs into it nicely. This is for rear brakes. Can use BimmerLink to deactivate parking brake beforehand instead, though, and skip that step.

Wrote to BMWUSA today asking the questions I originally posted. Why only 2 clips supplied? What does the instruction on the hardware label refer to?
