question on bluetooth audio streaming

13 650i gc is there anyway to get the artists info and album to display on the idrive while streaming via Bluetooth... thanx ahead!

Though I won’t be able to help you with this question as I just am not very good with tech, I think you should include what app you are using to stream the music (Pandora, mp3 player, Spotify, etc…) and then what type of phone you are connecting via Bluetooth. With that information someone may be able to help you out.

I probably still can't help but I too have a Note 5 and I use Pandora all the time and it always provides artists info. I don't think it provides graphics though. I will double check tonight on my way home from work. However, I have a 2014 650. One difference between our cars I believe is that in 2014, the 6 series received an updated iDrive set-up. I hope that one of the 2012 or 2013 guys can chime in for you.

I don't believe I see any youtube information though.

It should give you artist, album and song info with both radio and streaming services. Podcasts will give podcast name. I believe the '15 Idrives started having album covers/artwork. Dumb question but did you 'check' the box for entertainment info?

all i get is artist name and title in my '15 (NBT system and bluetooth package or whatever they call it) with an LG, using either the built in music app or google music or poweramp. BMW really doesn't test for android at all
