After searching around, I decided the best (and least expensive) route was to buy a set of used OEM pipes and remove the cats. Probably spent 10 minutes per side drilling out the cat material. The OEM pipes are double walled and help with the sound (I didn't want it to be too loud).
With Active Autowerke tune mine is a beast and sounds great.

I have my original (26K) set of pipes for sale if you're interested.

A cheaper option are the VSRF pipes. Someone recently posted a step by step install with plenty of pictures.
