And no....they should not add the same trim from the M6 on the M sport models. You pay to play........simple as that. I bought this car because, among other thing, it's rare.....I don't know that I've seen another M6 GC in Chicago and you will find everything there. Your 650 is nice....but....it's not an M6. End of story.
I find it stupid that your logic is based around the fact that someone who doesn't own a certain car can't post pictures of it. Very smart. Plus I'm happy with the car I have in my point of life, which was one of the points I was trying to make. The 6 series is a great car and if I ever have a chance to own one I'd be damn happy to have it and not badge it as something different

My logic has nothing to do with that. People take pics of exotic cars all the time, nothing wrong with that.

It's people who actually take time out of their days to basically take a picture of something and then go to the trouble of posting on a public forum to laugh at someone else's car.....I don't really get that (again, especially when that car is $70k more than your's).

I agree people should be happy with whatever cars they own.....but such is life. Who knows, maybe the owner bought it like that. Who cares?

If you read my original post carefully, you'll see that I didn't laugh at the car. I don't see where you got that from :

So again, you refuting that your logic is based on the fact that I don't own an expensive car is stupid seeing as you blatantly use the value of a car to determine the validity of what I say. Why should it matter what car I own? Who cares?

Either way, we have differing opinions. Your M6 GC is amazing I'm sure

Also.....on the subject of body kits...body kits are SO ten years ago. Do you ever see a body kit on a car besides a friggin Civic? Sorry, too......those saying some of these body kits on Lambos, etc. are awesome....no, they DO NOT look good. It's quite laughable to anyone who has a sense of style. For one, the best body enhancements you can do are all M-Sport or AMG bumpers, rockers, etc. to your car.....(like adding the sport stuff to a non-sport 528i). Totally fine...totally accepted...think it's a requirement.

These cars are designed now by world-class designers who I am pretty sure have a little better sense of design and style that Prior Design or anyone else out there.

Like this, what is this?

http://www.dreamcarsite.com/photos/m...ir-06-rear.jpg

It's a black series CLK in the rear fenders.....it's a new CLS in the rear bumper with the vents....it looks like a PT Cruiser (yes, a PT Cruiser) with the front fender spears....and the front wheel well looks like it should be on those old Cadis where the wheel well cover the wheel. Come on.

I don't understand your logic either! First of all the thread started and people quoted about the fact that people "don't enjoy what they have by putting fake badge" and then OP and many people referred to the nice car (640i) with no need to put M6 badge on it! Second as C5driver said people can do what ever they want to do with their cars and money and other people have right to mention their opinion right? You can put Ferrari emblem on your Mercedes and I have right to laugh at you
BTW who said 640i is 3x as much as 335 especially when OP was not talking about how much 640i worth and he already admired 640i!
Anyways, calm down buddy

I totally forgot that's what the beginning argument was because I've just being seeing pictures with the "///M" logo on the back of the car. The same logo that comes in the doorseal, on the steering wheel and on the wheels they put on a M sport car instead of an actual "M6" badge. Going back to your statement, I've seen one person do it and it was on a 550i.

This forum is the most amusing on 6post. Hahaha when you do sit and think about it, an M6 badge on a 640i is a big leap in trims. Hahahaha

Yeap!!!

The whole thing comes down to our human tendency of one-upmanship ... trying to out do others and perhaps be, visually anyhow, what we are not or can not attain! Some are humble and do what is in their limist ... others a doing better and are satisfied ... yet others doing well look at those doing better then them as a source of desire and inspiration ... or jealousy.

This drives the Badges, buying the next new car, TV, iPhone, plastic surgery, botox, after market parts etc etc etc ... the list goes on.

Not that it is bad, it is amusing to onlookers. It is just human nature ... the competitiveness in us!

I don't look down on these things ... I just watch with amusement ... another experience in an otherwise short life and a dull day!

It is a part of life and how we all interact .. and choose to go big or go home!!! Hopefuly all in fun and not to ruffle anyone's feathers

These are all amazing cars ... they are technological advances in the moment ... only to be replaced by the next BIG THING and made obsolete ... This drives our desire to $PEND MORE and get the next best thing out there ... Corp Business is driven by this aspect of Human nature

We all have humble beginnings ... tricycle days ... first $hit box car in late teens etc etc etc

ENOUGH OF ME NOW ... Piece to all our Brothers!

Now, where are those body kits going from a A to a DD

+1 because when I bought my 650i GC, I didn't want an M6 until I came on this forum and seen the beauty, the performance and the agility of the car and now that's my next buy. BMW in the US is telling me I'm too young (I'm only 22) to get it from (well the 6 dealerships I went to) so, I guess I'm looking to buy used!

It will all happen with time ... meantime enjoy the ride/rides!

You will have a PHAT Bank Account and Balding hairline to look forward to ... so lets not rush it

And I believe you are too young to have even regular 5 or 6 series including 528 and 640
At your age I would go for M2 or M235

I had a C300 and a Camaro and I hated them both, the space in there wasn't enough then I had got a SRT Jeep and the space was great but the mpg was really shitty being that I'm in New York. The 6er is just right

still think the E63 AMG-s would be wonderful ... 4 matic, big and fast .. CLS63 AMG-s another option!

They all have great options ... may not have the Monster engine that the M6'ers have but another option for AWD and room

The E63-S doesn't sound bad but my friend have a benz and I don't really like the interior, BMW interior fits me more and when it's fully loaded you get even more, espically the 18/20 way powered seats.
