F10 exhaust fitted to an F13

It can be done, but it's a 6 hour job which includes a run to the welders.

I ordered Turner Motorsports Race Inspired Axle-Back Exhaust, since I wanted more of an exhaust note (my Corvette has LT headers and straight pipes).

http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-18...k-exhaust.aspx

Placed the order with Ian, immediately got an email with tracking, exhaust arrives and packing list looks like what I ordered. They threw in some goodies in there, which was unexpected, but appreciated. Made an appointment with Trinity Autosport for Joe to do the install.

Here's where DSC magically turned off and things went sideways. Fast.

What should have been a 2 hour job turned into 6 hours, 3 calls to Turners, two calls to me, plenty of confusion, and a trip to a shop to weld hangers.

The final fitment might have been acceptable to some, but I had questions:

1. How could Turners put out a product with such poor fitment.
2. How could Trinity possibly get a simple install wrong.

The outcome was misaligned tips that were clearly too extended.

The next day, I sent the images to Turners and Ian forwarded them to their R&D department. He replied, saying that those were F10 pipes that were incorrectly pulled and packaged.

Turners sent out the correct F13 pipes no charge and Trinity installed them in an hour or so.

F10 vs. F13:

Final result:

Here's the most impressive part. Turners credited me on the cost of the original install and followed up with a thank you card and a discount coupon. Now that's customer service.

Needless to say, Trinity did an amazing job on both installs and I'm more than pleased with the end result. The sound is exactly what I was looking for and the look is awesome.
