Question about RPi GTM Exhaust

Okay, so I just had the RPi GTM exhaust installed on my M6.
Love the sound. Definitely the way the M6 should sound, IMO.
So, I'm happy with my purchase and would do it again!

However, my 550i with Meisterschaft sounded more aggressive and louder.

So, my question is......

1) Is there something different about the F10 550i engine that made my Meisterschaft sound louder or......

2) Have I just gotten used to the sound of an aggressive BMW?

I can't imagine anything sounding louder than the RPi GTM, since it's pretty much straight pipe (of course, without going with downpipes).

Am I just too used to a loud exhaust or is there something different about the M6 that actually makes it sound quieter?

The 550i with Meisterschaft (with valves open) sounds incredibly raw. The M6 with the RPi sounds incredibly good and more fine tuned (in person). Pretty exotic sounding, actually.

Sounds similar to the Eisenmann, but more.

Just an observation.

The Meisterschaft systems uses bigger piping. You should hear Meisterschaft system on the M6

Sounds great!

I just put on the Turner Motorsport exhaust and I'll guarantee it's louder. IMO, it's the best sounding exhaust out there.

okay, driving through downtown Dallas with the windows down provided a pretty awesome experience. The downshifting caused the exhaust note to bounce off of the buildings. Slightly Ferrari sounding. Sounded unbelievably good!

I'm just trying to figure out how this could possibly be louder than a full (cat-back) straight pipe exhaust system. Maybe it is. However, seems impossible, since this is only axle-back. This leaves the factory resonator, etc.

It does sound great though......
