Took the car out the other evening and noticed that the "Sport Display" is now standard on the iDrive screen, showing real-time HP & TQ data.

I know on my 2014 it didn't have this, but my '14 was an early build, prior to the updated instrument display.

Also, while in Sport mode, it shows HP at the bottom of the RPM display.

My car does this as well. Its a '14, not sure when it was built.
