Brembo brakes. Big brake upgrade.

Who here has a big brake upgrade? Can you post pics and reviews. I'm thinking of doing the upgrade and would love to here some comments.

Thanks!

How do you the brakes feel? Worth the cost?

I didn't upgrade mine, but I did think about it. OEM brake set feels good to me, but just hate the look if anything.

Yep. I love how big brakes look in the wheel. Plus I have 22s so it makes the oem brakes look tiny even though they re actually a good size.

definately a great upgrade! stock brakes were a bit soft and weak!
friends that drove it afterwards said it shouldve been how it came with the car.

Hi 78mao, would you mind sharing Brembo part numbers? I have been thinking since the day I got the car, but only found number for front brakes and not rear. I don't drive that aggressively, but the look of OEM is killing me every morning.

i dont have the rears! i just painted the rears to match the front. i spoke to them, they do have a rear kit, but you lose your e brake. i didnt want to deal with that so i just went with the route on painting them.

I see, I also read somewhere that you lose e brake. I saw your other thread "Rear Brembo 4Pot GT Kit coming soon" so I thought you found the right set. Anyway, your car looks very nice with front kit and painted rear set.

I would do it -- both front and back -- but don't want to lose the free maintenance on the brakes.

Wonder if there's a way to buy the M6 Brakes ... would they even fit on our cars?

I believe that M6 rear brake is the same as non M model. Only the front is different, so I think it should fit without modification.

I don't believe that's right.

I want to say even the non-ceramic brakes on the M6 are bigger at the rears.

The 6er rear disks are something like 13.6 inches. The standard M6 rear disks are something like 15.6, and cross-drilled of course.

You are right, the part numbers are different. They kinda look similar from photos.
