TPMS Retrofit

Hello all,

Good morning! because it's really early here.

I have the FTMS and am looking to retrofit the original TPMS. I had the orange TPMS previously and it worked well except for the fact that it needs to be connect to the Ciggy port.

I am just wondering if it's a case of coding it and then putting the sensors in the wheels.

Also 433Mhz, is that the standard? I read of some other frequencies too

Am currently on F12.

Thanks and have a good day!

I was only able to spec FTMS for my order. Been wondering about a TPMS retrofit.

I was thinking of buying the sensors online on ebay and getting someone to code it.

I am talking about the original BMW TPMS sensors taken out from someother cars.

anyone did this and got it to work?
