Holy **** M6 Vert is 4508lbs and M6 Cpe is 4255lbs. Svelte it is NOT.
when will this madness with bloating of M cars stop?

I know with suspension tuning, Active M Diff and other things in the car will make the car handle like a lighter car but the law of physics is still very much present for a very heavy car. I will reserve judgement until i drive one.

(M1) and (M2) buttons on steering wheel are cruise control memory settings, able to choose what speed to resume to, or what? Anyone knows?

Nothing to do with cruise control.

It's like the single M button in the M3. M1 and M2 are two custom buttons the driver can pre-program to set the steering, suspension, and throttle response settings to comfort/efficient, Sport, or Sport+. You can also pre-program the traction control setting.

Push M1 or M2 and it will switch these settings to what you've preprogrammed, rather than having to change each of those settings at a time.

Does any know for sure? I thought ceramic brakes lasted longer than regular brakes.

IMO the rear needs help, it's way too busy with the third brake light and reflector placement. Other than that the M6 is absolutely gorgeous, blows the previous gen out of the water.

The "red" one at the end is also Sakhir Orange. What I am not certain of, is whether the lighting in the two photo-sets makes the color different, or if one set is post-processed in Photoshop a bit "more", or a combination of both. Although I can say with certainty both of those are the same color, Sakhir Orange.

Love the M6 in Sakhir, but have to admit the Alpine White with Sakhir interior is looking mighty sexy. One of each, then?!

owh really? Looks like two totally different colors. So I guess the orange tone is the real color? a bit like valencia orange rather than a red tone.

I doubt the lightning-conditions could make such a huge difference.

All the photoshopping these days... I don't get it, even the pics in the brochures at the dealers are sometimes photoshopped to the extent that they do not correctly represent the actual color!

That's correct. They are both Sakhir Orange. I will say that the color seen in our photos (ones in the parking lot) are the more accurate ones in terms of actual real life look of Sakhir Orange.

The last set are press photos from BMW and have been processed and bumped up a bit too much, making the color appear too red.
