Hey All,

Just wanted some insight from those of you who own an M6 GC.

My Father owns a 14 Maser GT Sport after formally having owned a bunch of 911's and an SL63 AMG, a 540i etc. He's now 63 and doesn't want to sacrifice performance, but would really like a bit more comfort for daily driving.

We drove the new 7 and were underwhelmed and both he and I don't like the grille on the s8 and the rs7 is just plain ugly, as is the panamera.

He hated the SL (albeit it was an 08) and now isn't willing to consider MB on any level.

What do you guys think? Is the back of the GT big enough to accommodate adults for short distances?

Is there anything you guys don't like about your cars?

Also, and this is important, is the Comp Pack worth it?? A must have? Does it sound much better?

The M6 GC would be a huge step up performance wise from a Maserati Gran Turismo. It would actually be a huge step up in just about every department except sound. The comp pack improves the sound slightly but the sound would still need a proper exhaust upgrade to sound appealing. I would recommend the comp pack for an older gentleman because of the steering upgrade. The car steers much faster, smoother, and has less of that weighty steering feel than the non-comp pack, specially in the Sport Plus steering mode. As far as rear seating space, the GC is very spacious in the back, much more than the Maserati I would think.
