Cleaning Black Comp Package Exhaust Tips

Mine look horrible and need to be cleaned. Before I jump in I would love to know how others clean them DYI-style

So I meant cleaning the carbon from the inside of the tips as well as the residue on the outside of the black chrome tips. A little more than soap and water will remove.

I ended up using Blue Magic polish, 000 steel wool, Mothers Power Ball drill polisher and a rag. The Blue Magic and steel wool did a great job of cleaning the carbon residue and the drill polisher worked magic too.
