F12 M6 SoCal
Any M6s or M fans in the SoCal area? Just moved here from Boston and am looking for some mates and what not. Also really looking forward to a mountain road cruise or anything like that if anyone could throw in their penny.
I'm that sakhir orange M6 featured on pkilla617's M6 tribute video, my car has 1700mi now and is running fine! Also own an X6M, did a 4-5 second run with my M6 and damn the M6 is unbelievably faster than the X6M (w/o LC; loses a few yards in the beginning but rockets past the x6 with the m6 in 2nd gear 5k rpm to redline, x6 in mid 3rd gear) |

Welcome to SoCal! Where in SoCal are you? I just joined this forum a couple weeks ago when I bought my M6 GC. I owned a Z06 Corvette for 10 years, and went on a couple runs with that club. Looking for challenging mountain roads near by? The back roads around Azusa canyon are fun, but can be dangerous. You probably already do this, but I must say it...If you plan to go fast, pre-check your route for sand/gravel, narrow SoCal mountain roads are often cut into the mountain, it's common for rain run-off and erosion to go over the roads.

I just moved to SoCal from NJ 1 year ago and just joined this forum because I'm definitely interested in getting an M6 convertible within the next month or so. |

congrats on ur choice to go for the m6 and welcome to the f12 m6 group!
I drive a conv also and gotta say, cali is just the right place to own a convertible. I'm around the Buena Park area where there's one of the top 5 BMW dealers in the nation, Shelly BMW. They seemed to have A LOT of M6's in stock, not sure if they had any conv's, will double check on that. As an M6 driver, I have to say, I envy those with the M6 GC only because it's so unique (more than the F12/13 M6) and I truly think the body style is perfect for its kind. |

PackerFan. I just picked up same car. Alpine white with black interior M6 Gran Coupe. Have you done any mods yet? I traded in my 2013 650i GC as the only reason i purchased it was in anticipation of the M6 arrival. However, nothing switches over. I have Hamann front lip, 3D rear diffuser, H&R Springs and the most disappointing item that doesn't come close to switching over...my GT Meist exhaust which I spent over 4500 on. Just curios if you have done any mods and if I should even bother with a new exhaust etc...
