My new M6 Conv
I wanted to share with you a few photos of my new M6 Convertible. This is my 4th M6 and the first one I've owned with Competition Package. I was seriously looking at other cars but couldn't find anything that came close.
Haven't decided if I'll go for any mods, what do you guys think? Still in the break-in period, so haven't been able to try out the extra power but the new sports tuned steering is really good. . (Singapore Grey exterior, Silverstone interior, Competition package; Ceramic brakes) |

Given the climate in Southern California, I've always gone for the Convertible; I guess I'm a sucker for driving with the roof down. See lineup below.
2007 E64 Silverstone/Black - SMG, loaded 2010 E64 Mineral Grey/Silverstone - SMG, loaded 2013 F12 Black/Red - DCT, Loaded 2016 F12 Singapore Grey/Silverstone - DCT, Loaded w/Comp, CB The first 2 were the previous shape with SMG; really sporty and nimble compared to the current design. Didn't enjoy the SMG for day-to-day driving but performed really well in sports setup. Also, had to select the power button that released the extra 100HP each time started engine. The main difference between current model and 2013 one was the addition of the Comp Package and Ceramic brakes. The 2016 does feel more nimble and for whatever reason lighter; I put this down to comp package tuned steering ratio. Haven't been able to test the full Comp Package setup as I'm still in the Break-in period where you can't do any kick-downs or go over 5,500 rpm / 106mph. The brakes do feel more responsive but will know more once I get past the break-in period. Last edited by MyWheelz; 10-03-2016 at 12:17 AM.. |

Very nice spec M6. The CCBs look awesome behind the black wheels!

very nice! haha can't believe you've had 2x M6s of each model
I personally hate the E64 front fascia, but the V10 probably made up for that As much as I've considered getting a new M6, I think I've grown to like mine more with time |

Funny thing is that I wasn't even sure I wanted the CCB since some I've been told they're very noisy. So far, they're not any noisier than the standard brakes. |

The F12 is really attractive but not as nimble as the E64; I guess that's more to do with the higher weight of the F12. |
