275 is too narrow for 10.5" rims. Can be fitted in 9-10" rim (based on spec below)

Thanks for the reply. I know it can be done as seen photo's of f10s with the same setup stretched. Wondering if anyone has 10.5 et42 rears firstly and also if they are running a 275

275s will go on easily on a 10.5" wheel. my prior car had 255s on an 11" and it was a bit much, so 275s is a slight stretch, but absolutely doable

oh, and i'm running a 11" at et38 with 295/25, and i rub with H&R and 1.5 degress of camber. i thought my rubbing days were behind me, but after getting an alignment, this rubs and i'm not sure how to fix it. can't raise the car nor do i want to buy new tires. ugh.

11's are too much for a 650. 10.5 max.

F10 343M is 10" and not 10.5". M6 343M/601M/433M are 10.5" (rear)

Is the rubbing inside or outside?

I don't even think 10.5" is fit. I remember long time ago a guy reported M6 rims on 650i were rubbing but I'm sure M5 rims are fit (10" ET 34) with 295/30/20 tires.

rubbing on the outside if i make a turn over 20mph or have any passengers. shaving the wheel pad down a couple of mm just might do it

an 11" wheel with that offset must be poking something fierce! which is why you are running the stretched tire. you need a lower sidewall or you need to bring the wheel back in and shaving the wheel pad is the only way to do it but you are weakening the wheel by doing so.

I run 20x10.5 on 285 rear. With h&r springs on my 640 coupe. Fitment is spot on. No rubbing no problems.

The issue is not the width (11") since with 295 tire, still your tier is wider than your rim. the issue is offset. As I said people have installed M5 343M setup (ET34 on rear) with no issue on 650i. I guess the offset of this rim is less than 34mm

yeah, a bit of poke going on, but that was what i decided to live with to either get a wide lip or deep concave. but a lower sidewall ain't happening...i've bent my prior sets of wheels way too many times to risk it. i tried a set of 285/35 on these wheels and that was a laughable failure the second they went on, just to get as much sidewall protection as possible. already bent my front on a plain 255/35/21 tire

If you want a deep concave wheel then reduce your wheel width to 10 and run a super low offset. That will get you flush but will be nice and deep.

on your current setup, have you rolled your fenders?

It really all comes down to using the correct offset. You can fit a 22x10.5 on a 650, just has to be the right fitment. Once you start trying to put wheels designed for cars other than your own, you will run into issues.

im running 295/25/21 on 21x10.5 et 31. had the same problem with the car lowered. i had to add a little more camber in the rear and the rubbing went away. forget what the actual number is, but i dont have any rubbing issues anymore after the more aggressive alignment.
