New M6 addition compared to M5

I just picked up this car from a fellow forum member as my wife's car got totaled recently from someone who rear-ended me my way to work (pics below). I figured the car would drive feel and sound the same as my F10 M5, but this thing feels and sounds completely different. It came with a Dinan stage 1 tune and Full Meistershaft gtc exhaust (still catted). My M5 is catless but is only an axel back Meistershaft gtc.

The M6, although not much lighter in weight, feels much lighter and less boaty. I can see why the Dinan costs as much as it does it is not as powerful as my JB4 w/bcm and tune but it really smooths out the power band. You never feel the "boost rush" and feels quite similar to how my supercharged E92 felt the way it delivers power.

The full leather interior is a must have. I wish I would have got the M5 in full leather as well. The Sahkir Orange interior with carbon fiber trim is amazing to look at. The Band and Olufsen sound system is also much better compared to the Harman Kardon system I have on the M5 and previous M3's. I drove the car from Dallas to Atlanta and enjoyed every minute of it.

I have had car commitment problems as of late, but I think I will keep this one for a while.

Looks amazing.

Though not the same cars, I did go from an F10 to F06, and noticed exactly the same thing. Even in the Comfort+ setting, it doesn't feel like a boat the same way my F10 did.

I'm sure you'll have fun!
