Key hole cover

I just purchased a 2014 BMW 650i Gran Coupe and on the drivers side, there is a very noticeable and ugly hole for using the physical key. I am wondering if anyone makes a key hole cover or if there is a separate cover I can buy to cover this eye sore?

I have searched a couple of places, but I have not been able to locate anything for the F06

TIA

Bumper plugs usually makes stuff like this, but I do not see BMW listed on their site.

http://www.bumperplugs.com/index.php...gory&path=1_12

You may want to give them a call and see if another plug will fit??

Damn... Hopefully he might be able to do something for you. I'll definitely pick up a set.

I contacted the company and was basically told there was nothing available to alleviate the eye sore. I guess I will have to live with it. Thanks to all who responded.

Check out the F30 forum. There is company that makes them for the BMW. At least for the 3 series. If I find the link I will post it.

Found it. JBSPEED911@gmail.com. They are a vendor for this forum. Check it out and see if that is what you are looking for. Been thinking of putting this on my car, don't like the ugly silver opening for the key.

Looks like on the F30 he replaces the cap that covers the hole with one without a hole. Pretty cheap because the door handle is not changed.

However on our cars the whole door handle opens around the key hole.

So here is what I think: You can buy a rear door handle which should be the same as the front and have it painted, or find one from a yard with the same color.

I did some digging and it looks like the 5 series has different door handles, but the 7 uses the same ones. Makes sense because the 6 doors are larger than a 5 and closer to a 7. I then looked at the part numbers for passenger side front and rear and they are the same. SO . . . if you buy a passenger rear door handle from a 7 it should fit.

I have no idea if the comfort access would work because I have no idea how it works in the first place.

Someone better at parts searching needs to check on this, but hey its a shot. Looks like new price is about $300 primed and used online half that painted whatever it was taken from.

Good help you if your battery goes dead

Easiest solution: use the front left handle from a right hand drive 6 series. No problem with comfort access it remains fully usable.
