Seat spill, now air bag doesn't work

Heeeeelp! I spilled some tea (it was room temperature) on my passenger side seat, (2013 M6 convt). Now, my air bag system isn't working, two red indicator lights are lit on the dash. It's Friday night, the dealer's service is closed for the weekend. I patted it dry, then finished with a blow dryer, I think it's all dry, but air bag lights are still lit.
I imagine the worst, the seat is stained and short circuited, they have to order a new seat from Germany, it takes six months, then an amateur mechanic installs it so it never works again and my insurance company has clause that omits drink spilling idiots.
Maybe I'm over reacting, but I'm bummed. How can the seat be so sensitive, it was only some Luke-warm tea? I know shame on me. But, anyone ever have this happen? Any easy (do it yourself) way to fix it? Any chance it will fix itself by morning?

Water damage to sensor most likely. Will require replacing sensor not entire seat.

Thanks for reminding me why I don't allow drinks in the car.

Airbag faults, even if corrected still require a reset with diagnostic software like ISID to turn off the light. The OC3 sensor is covered in sealed plastic so I doubt you destroyed it - I'm willing to bet you caused a temporary short in the seat modules causing the ACSM to throw a code. These cars are far more robust than you'd think and are designed for mishaps like these. I hope the dealer find the situation as simple and easy to remedy as I speculate they will.

Thanks for all replies, the problem (thankfully!) seems to have corrected itself, no more air bag light. I'll be a lot more careful in the future. I appreciate everyone who replied.
