Been having the itch to pick something up this past few weeks. Thought about GTR, M5, M6, E63 and even an X5M.. New buy, lease or CPO. It was all the same aslong as I got a good price and warranty was intact. Sooo... In conclusion I walked away with... Drum roll!!!...

2013 CPO with 11.5k miles (I call her Orange Juice
Was a corporate car. Clean everything cardiac, full records ,Still smells new.

Car sticker was 118k (new) I walked away with this beauty for 74k not including taxes which put me at $79k. Best part I have CPO warranty till 2019.

Ok so coming from AWD to RWD... I have Pirelli p zero 295 in rear and they are NEW.. I have 0% grip from 0-80ish mph.

Recommendations on tires?
Also, the sound stock sounds great! Thinking of doing X pipe. Thoughts? I actually have a catback Meistershaft so debating on installing that. It's just sitting in my bsmt storage lol

Also, any advice on car tips, tricks etc?

Well... First thing you need to know about this car is traction issue of this RWD torque monster ... yeah you have 0% grip with those 295 p zero tires but even with 305 MPSS and 305 Nitto NT05 still you have traction issue; however Nitto is better than MPSS but last not as long as MPSS. You would be interested in R888 315/30/20 but those are drag tires...
I have no recommendation about sound since I have no issue with stock sound but my only recommendation to you specially since you are coming from AWD is to avoid turning off DSC. This monster with DSC OFF is a GUN period. Make sure you get familiar with this power and torque before trying MDM mode and forget about DSC OFF on public street. If you really want to have fun, set one of the M button to sport+/sport+/sport+/S3 and enjoy the ride

yuuuuup! my beast tried to kill me several times in mdm mode when i first got her and i learnt to handle her with care and respect... Slowly but surely getting there with figuring out how to put the power down effectively!

Sakhir - How does one pronounce Sakhir btw? Is it a made up word or? I like Sakhir on the outside but had to have it on the inside and decided Sakhir+Sakhir was not a great match.

You guys do not have "KH" as a letter in English, but the other languages have this "kh". If you know about Arabic or German or couple other languages, you can pronounce it
BTW like most of the BMW color's name, Sakhir is the name of a place in Bahrain with international race track

Unlike some ( ... I GUESS WE DISAGREE ON ANOTHER POINT ) I thought the stock exhaust was emasculating for such a NICE POWERFUL BEAST!!! The outgoing Gen V10 Exhaust was intoxicating ... and I did my 2007 with the Eisenmann catg back Sport and K&N Cold air induction.

I did the Supersprint down-pipes less the cats, and then the Full Akra evo with CF tips for my 2016 M6 Cab ... although not as crazy a sound as the V10 was, it DOES GROW ON YOU
