Congrats! looks stunning!

The 0-480 HP meter on sport mode is a new thing, need to figure out how to code that in on mine.

Thanks...

What do you mean - you have an MFID that does not show the HP meter? It's so new I'm surprised there's already a difference....

On a separate note, the iPhone 5 cradles allegedly hit the US in October...

My MFID is a retrofit, I have a 2013 so the digital dash didn't come with it.

It shows a meter of 0-80 but doesn't do anything, I am sure it's just a quick code that I need to find.

Oh, I see...

Is there a way to code the mirrors to close when turning the car off, or at least locking the door from the comfort access handle?

Yeah, you can code them to close when locking the car from the key or comfort access.

Thanks - BMW can do this for me, or I need an outside mod?

Beautiful.

And this is nothing against your car, as it's a personal thing, but I've never felt that any iteration of the 6er looked good as a convertible.

Thrang,

Question - do you have a button/switch for the new lauch control?
It was supposed to be a new standard feature as of the 7/13 6 series builds.

Honestly, I wouldn't know what it looks like, short of it saying "launch control" - but I don't think so.

Mine was built the first week of July...

Well just did some research on it. Appears LC is a procedure, not a button:

DSC completely off
- Shift setting at most aggressive manual setting (there's a higher shift setting only available with DSC off on the M3)
- Bring car to a stop
- Hold shifter in the forward (downshift) position until you see a checkered flag in the cluster
- While continuing to hold shifter, floor the throttle
- Adjust launch revs if desired using the cruise control stalk
- Release the shifter to go. The car will handle shifting (despite being in manual mode) as long as you keep the accelerator floored.

To cancel launch control before you launch, release the throttle before the shifter.

Isn't this for an M car? I have the M sport edition, not the actual M car...

Nope, the 650 is supposed to get it starting with last month's builds.

Ok, I'll have my son check it out

Though if it was specifically 7/13 onward, I think my build started the week before...

Congrats; love the exterior color.

Off topic: Did BMW do away with the brown/white two tone interior option for the 2014 model?

Congrats. Yea. I really like the color combo. And 18 months later I still do. I think I've gotten more complements on this car and color combo in 18 months than every car I've had before put together - and that includes an '02 M5 and E92 M3.

Same here, at least four people stopped to comment on the color combo...(this is NOT a criteria for me, but just sayin'...)
