GC Owners, would you do it again?

Curious for input from GC owners. I've seen some interesting comments and would like your opinion on if you would do it again. Feel free to post additional thoughts and/or why you voted the way you did.

If I have the M6GC, I would keep it for as long as I can.
For 650GC, I would just drive it for around 40000 to 50000kms, and then trade it in.
I thought about x6m and P-cayenne gts for my next car, but I made my mind to stick with 6 family but get a m6 instead of regular ones.

I think the 650 GC is an amazing car. It looks beautiful when it's standing still, as well as when it's in motion. The response I get from it when I step on the accelerator still makes me grin sometimes. At the end of the day, it is a car that does what its supposed to do, and it does it very well.

My experience with the 650 GC hasn't been all positive, however. I have had a few frustrating experiences with it. From having to add a quart of oil once a month, to driving it with shipping blocks in the springs for 6 months. Not to mention the stock 20 inch ///M sport wheels forcing me to pull a couple of evasive maneuvers to avoid hitting somthing when driving in the winter conditions. I even have a crack spreading in my windshield from a rock that was kicked up from a vehicle in front of me... (at no fault to my BMW) lol.

Ultimately, although it is my humble opinion that the GC is one of the most beautiful inside and out designs BMW has produced, it simply is not my style. I enjoy driving it, looking at it, and pressing her buttons... but I miss the ride height, reliabilty, and winter handling of my former X6.

Most likely, my next car will be a CPO X6M... unless of course the 2015 LCI of the X6 makes my heart skip a beat like the GC did last year, lol... looks like I won't learn my lesson.

This is a great question. Thanks! I am not in the position to buy yet, but I want the 650i GC something fierce!! But, I have this nagging question if the GC is worth the extra 20+K over a 550? So I am still in limbo as to what to buy?

I'm terns of value for the money, the 650gc is a premium for stunning looks. If you want more value, a 550 is that but the look is eg IMHO.

My debate is to get a 650gc or used PTT or PGTS. In this comparison, the 650gc I think is the better value. Can't get one of these cars under 100k and it will still be a few years old. Saw a 2010 PTT and they want 70k while I can get a 2013 cert 650gc for about the same amount.

550 vs. 650gc

To me it is all about the steering. When I drove a 550xi (2014 of my friends) the steering felt like a video game. It was artificial, lacked steering, and well, like I said, felt like a video game!

The 650GC on the other hand had nice firm direct steering. If I could get Active Steering on the XI, I would do it in a heartbeat (thus my only complaint, man that wheel turns a lot).
