Looking to pull the trigger on a 2016 M6 Coupe

However, it has the older I drive system V4 I believe? sooo wish this supports Apple Carplay but it doesn't- but here is my question- is there a BMW Connected App or other app that will "read" me my text and allow me to answer it back through the Idrive? My wife's new M2 has the latest 6.0 and while I am not a fan- it does have Carplay and makes the interface that much better. But I really need to "hands free" my texts.
