Best way to sell my M6
I'm thinking of selling my 2013 M6 Coupe (fully loaded, exec, heads-up, B&O, etc.) with 12K. I now have another vehicle as a DD and want to get a turbo S while I'm still young enough to get in and out of it. I'm figuring that its worth somewhere between $65K and $70K? I'd like to sell it first and then find a used 2015 TTS with low miles. Any ideas how to best sell it? Ebay or consignment?

The residual value of your car at the end of the lease must be something between 65-70k (considering 120-130k MSRP and 55% residual); however you have only 12k on the clock, but the actual residual value of this car after 3 years is less than 50%. I believe 65k is a decent price if you can find a private buyer...

I recommend you put the M6 on Craigslist, Autotrader and Cars.com. Provide lots of inside/out/engine pictures and make sure the background is nice. Golf course, for example. Low mileage, like yours, is a big draw. One owner? Say it. Be Patient and courteous even to low ballers. When pricing, look at the competition (that's where the buyers look) and fit yours in. Consignment is easy but you loose $$$. Good luck with it. Last edited by fuddman; 11-30-2015 at 06:25 PM.. |
