new M6 build 17' manual

Gents, placed an order for a New M6 today. It's got to be one of the last as it almost our of production and almost certain the last manual tranny M6 ever. I had a 14 M6 and loved it. I'm trading in a 2011 R8 which im still a little undecided about.

I miss the comfort of the M6 and frankly the R8 is a generation behind in tech features as well. I figure I get most of the R8 performance but with new car reliability and will trade in several other cars and save big cash.

S. grey
full orange leather
all options
MANUAL

I would appreciate your thoughts on this.

A. tech
B. age/reliability(R8 has cost 4k lately in repairs.)
C. Lower monthly expense as I will consolidate a few car notes into one.
D. last manual M6.

Thanks

A) tech is leaps and bounds beyond R8 (ask me how I know)
B) New car will come with warranty so who cares? lol but in all seriousness, the cars are solid from the factory, especially if they are brand new. follow break in please.
C) smart plan if you are wanting to downsize the fleet a bit
D) bad ass.

M6 production isn't finishing any time soon, I'd have thought you'd be able to buy manual ones for a long time to come yet, unless BMW are cutting the M6 down to DCT only in this chassis

I'm fearful they will do so. Glad to hear they aren't stopping M6 production yet. I thought with the new 5 coming they would cease the M6. It just feels weird no more manuals...

They always claim it's no one wants them. Just like audi they stop stocking them and then claim no one buys them...

I would have considered another R8 but audi dropped the gated option. Sigh.

You have some wicked cars in your fleet! The only thing that lingers is the wonderful high rev V10. I will welcome the comfortable and more daily liveable
interior of the M6 again.

Spending far too much on cars now so have to clean it up some.
