Digital instruments cluster ?

i found this pic on instagram of what looks to be the steering wheel of the M6.

now maybe this could be the new M4 or the M3 but still its not according to my research

can anyone explain?

That seems to be the M Performance Steering Wheel. It's not necessarily from an M6, but my guess would be a) it's just a mockup, or b) it's from an unannounced car or refresh of a current car. M8 or M6 LCI perhaps? That would be amazing. What's the source of the picture? That might shed some light into its legitimacy or the vehicle it pertains to.

Not sure if I would get a new one, but I'd go out of my way to retrofit that puppy.

Actually looking at it on my computer, and judging from the shape of the leather and carbon fiber trim surrounding the instrument cluster, that looks like an M6's dash.

If there is any legitimacy to that photo we may be onto something here. OP please let us know the source. If this is from BMW's or any legitimate partner's own Instagram account you may have found something really interesting.

Considering how the cluster of the i8 looks I wouldn't be too surprised if this was very much real for the 2015 M6 LCI

None of M Model hasn't got Multifunctional Instrument Panel. Even M3/M4 and incoming new X5M F15 / X6M F16 later this year.

Clearly a mockup the panel shows an automatic trans. No such beast in the M5/M6. And that wheel is M5/M6 only not 6er.
