Check tyre pressure, initialise RDC on every startup
Hi guys
As the title suggests, i get this warning (or something very similar, can't remember the exact words) every time i start the car. All the tyres are green on the screen and all display 1.9 bar when cold which sounds about right to me? about 30 psi? At the bottom of the screen is says 'Active'. Tyres are Michelin Pilot Super Sport. Its only started doing it the last couple of days and i don't understand what its getting at? It can measure the pressure, it says its active and the indicators are green all round. Sometimes after i do the reset it asks me to do it again if i stop e.g. at a red light. Help appreciated. J |

I had the same on my F13 M6. I highly think, that when wheels pressure in wheels are below 2.0 bar, you will get this warning. I have increased the pressure upto 2.5bar and now it doesnt give me this message. I hope this helps.
Maybe you should go with 2.1 - 2.3 or 2.5 bar. |

Thanks CSL
I thought this today actually. i didn't think tyres were low as they were all exactly the same pressure. put them to 2.3 bar and warning has gone it seems odd that all 4 of them are losing pressure at the same rate, albeit very slowly. So on the subject of pressures, what 'should' they be? what pressure does everyone else run? the tyre says don't inflate beyond 40psi i think. what benefits would you get from running at 2.2 bar vs say, 2.5 bar? if any. Thanks J |
