You will be happier with the car with downpipes and intake
I ran Super Sprint CAtless Downpipes for about 8 months before the Dinan Stage II

The catless downpipes allows the Turbo Spool Whistle to be heard like no-ones business!!

Then after the Dinan Stage II ... man the sounds is amazing!!

Here are a few side shots of the skirts I had on my phone. Makes a huge difference in my opinion.

You wonder if your M6 is noticed...Been reading this forum a bit ( well maybe a lot) lately and although seeing pics, never saw a M6 GC (or any 6 series GC) "in the flesh". Came up on one a few days ago as I was cruising home from work in my vette and it's one of the few times, I have actually slowed down to get a better look at a car. In the M6, whether it's coupe, vert or GC, you definitely have a winner. Beautiful cars. As I usually start looking for a few years before purchase, I'll be reading a lot on the forum - thanks for the many different threads.

I had a z4, wife is in a '14 AWD X1 and loves it. One of the 6 series variants is something that, hopefully, will be in my future. Do keep the pics and great info on M6's coming

If this post is out of line with the spirit of the thread, feel free to delete.

I'm in Northern California and I definitely feel the car gets a lot of attention. I daily drive mine so I guess it does stand out a little bit. I've had people on highway rubberneck like crazy, people that want to race, people in opposing traffic give the thumbs up and yell out "NICE!". Even people using a cross walk while i'm in traffic give the thumbs up! I don't mind the attention, it's mostly from people that recognize how awesome it is!
