DCT Jerkiness on manual upshift
I've recently noticed a jerk when I manually upshift around 4k RPM. It seems to do it in all gears from 1 to 7 and it feels like a bad shift on a MT where you feel the clunk. Only happens when I'm aggressively pushing the throttle and shifting near the 4k RPM mark. Anything below or over that RPM seems to shift much smoother. Just curious if something is wrong with my DCT. Anyone else have this experience?

isn’t that just normal S3 setting behaviour as its the most aggressive shift setting - mine also does it but was expecting it as all reviews state this occurs to achieve the speed ?

I tested this on comfort mode and it still seems to have the jerk. Was reading something about ECU adaptation that might be causing this.

A jerk and an audible clunk? I think mine makes a clunk/noise of some sort.. but a jerk? Sounds like my older SMG Trans

I also feel a jerk when aggressively shifting manually in S3. I think it's normal because the car has to time the shift regardless of when you click the paddle to match the engine revs.
