competition package exhaust v. M performance exhaust

2014 M6 GC here with comp. package (different mufflers and gloss black tips).
Thinking of M performance exhaust (discounted thru dealer) and wondered about the sound difference v. comp. package exhaust. Has anyone done this switch and if so, is it worth the 7K?

It is absolutely worth the 7K

Look at akra direct to see if the price is better as the only difference is the BMW specific exhaust tips btn the Akra direct purchase via their distributors or akra via BMW

Not sure is the BMW specific exhaust tips are worth the premium over the akar carbon fiber tips that say akrapovich on them and not the ///M

The value factor is completely personal based on what ones expectations are.

I've had an F06 with Akrapovic Titanium and have Comp on my F10. If the former wasn't free, I wouldn't have paid for it TBH.

If it's still a secret, oh well, production is almost over so what harm is there...Akrapovic designed and supplies all 3 systems (regular, comp, M Performance).

No one ever stopped and said the F06 sounded great, but I have had a few encounters of people going out of their way to comment about the nice sound from the F10 after it was broken in. It's not loud, but it has some deep bellowing tones that most other options lack.
