Vorsteiner huge disapoinment

Installed a full Vorsteiner kit after seeing all the positive reviews on this forum and I'm very disappointed, I know they designed and r&d and all that stuff, but RW carbon quality is identical, I see absolutely no difference from what I've had before, nothing fitted well, actually RW front lip fitted better ! Will post pics, later.

Really? How's the CF weaving on the Vorsteiner pieces? I've never seen RW in person but all the Vorsteiner pieces I've seen have always been on point from finish to weaving.

I have an oval "bubble" discoloration on the top side of the spoiler I'm not too happy with...

Same weave no difference, I just hate the fact that all vendors are praying by the quality, it's not anywhere near oem fit, and it isn't even real carbon like oem, Thank g-d i got a good deal on it, idk how people are paying 2500k for their diffuser i would be really pissed off.

Thanks for the feedback!!! I am very fond of that exhaust note

Still miss the scream of the V10 ... But the akra for the twin turbo 8 on the M6 is very nice ... Crazy ... Unique

Glad I could be of help and you like it

My princess still parked due to cool weather and heavy rain ... S63 did the run to Seattle from Vancouver today (80 mph in the rain) ... Few nasty pile ups on interstate 5 due to HEAVY rain ... Just as good princess is at home

sorry to hear! you would think with big name products like Vorsteiner you always hear "higher end brands cost more but you get what you pay for!" but after hearing people post bad fitments and quality issue it's why a lot of people will lean to pay for a replica instead. anything specific that stands out Aston that you didn't like?

Agree with OP. Fitment on my Vorsteiner CF Diffuser is subpar. I'd say 90% to 95% at best. I know Vorsteiner is a US company based in Southern CA, however, I am not sure if the actual products are made in USA vs Taiwan, etc. RW Carbon is based in Southern CA but they have their products imported from Taiwan.

man oh man...same story and over. I spent I don't know how many thousands for a front lip and rear spoiler only to remove them and break them after a few months.
i ended up buying a 2 inch rubber lip from Allfit for my front bumper and couldn't be happier. sure it's not CF but I can bottom out and not worry about scratches and it lowers my car and looks much better than "ok".

sorry to hear.

I don't have any experience with the company mentioned in the OP so I can not comment on their level of quality, but I have to wonder "how much better can it be" for a 500% premium over companies like RW Carbon? Especially for something you slap half way under your car that has as better chance ending up a pile of crumbled clear coat and cloth on a high curb than it does bringing any value to your car. The same with exhausts; you have $2000 muffler deletes and $8k mufflers. I have to assume the guys that buy these also have their houses plumbed in golden pipe.

I have paid the M tax many times in the past, and I'm sure I'll pay it again in the future. There are parts out there that are worth it, too. There are also parts that aren't, and it's threads like this one that always remind me "just because it cost more does not mean that it is better". With that in mind I will always be happy to loyally purchase quality products from companies that do not try to squeeze every single last penny out of customers just because they drive an M.
