Can an M6 GC be upgraded or coded to raise the tope speed from 155 to the 189 MPH? What are the changes required?

Thanks

No. You would have to drill into the ECU's and have them flash tuned.

Thanks. Don't need it that bad. I just get to 150 at COTA back straight. The only other track might be Road America but I can live with that...

get it tuned, well worth the $$$. speed limiter removal, can run HFC's, no error code. And of course, 680BHP + from just a ecu tweak!

spikespiegel does that void your warranty?

How does one go about coding the vehicle to get 680HP!?!? The vehicle has to be a CP correct? Are there any other hardware items needed to get that HP (exhaust, headers, intakes etc.)?

Thanks,
H

Yes, will void warranty unless you go dinan. And no doesn't matter whether you have CP or not.

I went catless DPs and had Active Autowerke do ECU flash. Am told they have it speed limited at 214. Haven't tested that, though

Is the Driver Package just a code change or is there hardware involved.

OBD Flash ECU is out. No need to drill to tune. Check the main new board for that.

Will it void warranty? Any medications you do can potentially void any warranty if the dealer thinks it was the cause of the error.

Any changes you make you take a risk.

Magic Motorsport is working on a solution for that warranty issue
