Click In Seat Base After Engine Switch Off

just curious guys, why do you get a vibration / noise from the seat base when you switch the car off, has anyone else noticed this, put crudely its almost like having your bum lightly flicked at.

Any ideas

Does it do things your wife won't? And if it did, did you enjoy it?

Oddly yes - I've felt the very same sensation in my nether regions from my M6

I was wondering if it was a fault (still could be) but I'm pleased you asked the question, because if nothing else at least I know it's not just my car.

I'd guess that it's linked to the safety restraint systems - could it be related to the motor that tightens your seat belt after setting off or when it auto rewinds after unbuckling your seat belt?

Could it just be the electric motors in the seat adjustment reverting to a lock position?
