Carbon Fiber Accents?

I am now in the limbo where I have my M6GC MT on order, teed up for Euro delivery mid-August. I'm doing Tanzanite Blue with Canyon Brown leather inside. I really like the dark brown look. My question is whether to do dark brown wood inside to mate with the brown leather, or carbon fiber. Does anybody out there have cf with Canyon Brown leather? Or the dark wood?

I have a philosophical thing in my head that I like the cf when it is a functional weight savings element, as it is for the roof panel, but not just as a cosmetic thing, like on interior bits. I mean, I do think it looks cool, but "carbon fiber look" has become too common like on promotional pens and stuff.

I am now thinking cf mirror housings on the exterior would look cool to mate with the roof panel; and maybe I just do cf inside too. I guess I'm looking to be convinced one way or the other.

Thanks for any thoughts/ pics of canyon leather with wood or cf. I still have time to alter the order....

Hi tab,

In my car, I wanted full leather and CF to highlight the luxury yet sporty character of the M6 GC. Using wood accents would be quite unique and lean more towards a luxurious interior IMO.

I just took a few pictures of my car in the garage. I used a bounce flash off of the anthracite alcantara headliner, so the alcantara looks much lighter than it really is. I hope this helps in your decision.

Thanks! These pictures show that there is actually a band of black leather that comes right down to where the CF shifter surround is, and on the doors. So the CF mates kind of nicely with that. You're right, I was kind of thinking it would be more unique and stealthy with wood; but you know, a MT Tanzanite with Canyon Brown is going to be pretty unique anyway, so maybe I should just get the stuff that looks coolest.
