Engine issue!!!

My engine got lock due to low oil, anybody has rebuild this engines? Any idea what im probably going to find when i put the engine apart? Is it even worth it? Any parts ill need to modified since im rebuilding the engine? Sorry im new just looking for any ideas and help!

How did this happen? Did something rip off your oil pan?

Given current value of the car, a rebuild will cost about 50% or so, so budget about $25k. You sure your insurance or warranty won't cover this? Is this due to neglect?

I wouldn't trust anyone other than BMW to do the work, and usually dealership will just give you a complete swapped rebuilt engine from the factory.

I bought the car from the auction and some how the car had the oil sensor disconnected and it barely had oild so when we did a teat drive the car shut down and the motor got lock, i was told way less since part are under 10k for sure just wondering how many hrs and if its even worth it cus i used engine will run around 10-14k

I remember a recall issue with oil pumps on S63 motors, might want to check if this car was ever affected.
