2016 650i xDrive Gran Coupe - Latest Software?

I occasionally check the bmw.com/update where you enter your VIN to see the latest software.

My current software is:
Media: MN-003.003.001
Phone: TN-003.003.001

On the BMW site, it does download software but the readme files point to much older versions of the Media and Phone software. Does anyone know if there is a newer version?

I have an iPhone X and the experience between the car and the phone including the media and the Connected app is extremely erratic and inconsistent. Not sure if anyone else has seen a newer version?

Also, has anyone had their iDrive software or any of their car's software updated at their dealer? Does that cost anything and is there a major benefit to doing so?

Any advice appreciated.

My software is getting updated this coming Monday free of charge. I'll advise of the benefits if any.

I have a similar issue. My phone always disconnects and reconnects erratically and something I can't select a song using the heads up display or album art and name of the song displayed is wrong.

I did a search on that topic for iPhone and discovered a myriad of remedies, one which seemed to work at least temporarily. I deleted the phone from the bluetooth menu on the car, connected the phone to the usb in the center armrest then re-connected it. That worked for about 3 days now I'm back to it not working after a software refresh last Monday. I don't know, I'll probably just deal with it.
