It's all in the coverage. Too many variables, deductibles, limits or limits of liability, garaged or not, age, years w insurance company, multi cars, house(s) etc.

damn, maybe I should post up what I pay... lol
48, no tickets or accidents in more than 25 years, 3 cars, home, rent home, $300/500k coverages, $250 deductible, Harris County (Houston) and just for the M6 runs roughly $100/mo (just checked, its EXACTLY $87/mo) My wife new 4 series runs just a TAD less.

I think the relative cost may help put it into perspective to try and exclude all of the variables. For a high limit plan, it went up about $40-50/mo from my 750i insurance.

Yep...tons of variables.
Another data point. I'm paying $132.24 per month with State Farm. 250/500/100 (with a $1 mil umbrella). 100/500 deductible. 11K miles per year. |

I'm getting jealous of reading your guys rates.
Anyone want to put my 2016 model under your policy and add me as an authorized driver??!

10 more months til the points off. Hopefully it'll reduce somewhat once it is. But considering my age +the car- probably not a whole lot : I'm definitely getting rid of my 2014 model as soon as the 16 gets here though. Otherwise that'd be almost 500bucks a month on insurance alone!

No problem. Assign your estate interests over to me and I'll be more than happy to add you to my policy (assuming your debt to income ratio is less than 2%)

If you guys in the USA are jealous about some of the rates quoted look at what I pay in the UK.
US$51 per month with a $460 deductible on a 640d Convertible with a sticker price of $131,000. |
