Was just reading about the next gen predictions which sound great to me. Smaller dimensions will make this great car outstanding. However, I'm concerned about the availability of a manual tranny. I would hate to see that go extinct. Any insight here?

Are they referring to targeting the GT3 RS? If that's the case, the M6 will be taking a 90 degree turn from the car it is today.

I assume no MT. BMW recently said this kind of HP is hard to put down without awd. It makes it harder to do a MT for the AWD. I bet on this by getting my 2016 M6 GC just now with a MT.

If you care more for it being latest greatest pick a model that just had a new gen come out this year and go with that.
that might also leave you looking at other brands.

Current new shit in my book that is worthy is M3/M4, X6M, 7 Series, i8 or Benz S-Coupe AMG.

I guess everything else is been out for a few years and will change just around your 36 month lease maturity unless you care to keep it.
most people don't the longer they stick with the car the more they want out over time. I've owned a few leases passed maturity and then sold a year later. It was nice not having a car payment for a year or two though
