2016 Alpina B6 - Rear Door Sunshades
Quick question. I just purchased a 2016 Alpina B6 gran coupe. It has the rear door electric sun shades along with the rear window electric sun shade. The rear doors can control either sun shade - up and down. But, I can't seem to figure out how to raise/lower them from the drivers seat. If the window is up and shade is up and I push the window button down from the drivers seat the shade and window both go down. I've had cars with power rear sun shades. Usually its one press for the shade and a second press for the window. I asked my salesman and he said that you have to hold down the button. I do that and all that happens is I can hear the window move slightly to ensure its fully up or down. Any help would be much appreciated. Maybe you can't control them from the drivers seat. If so, that would be weird.
Pic for anyone who would like to see it - took it up to Gettysburg this past weekend - View post on imgur.com |

It seems like you are pressing the window down button from the drivers seat, instead of pressing the sun shade button.
If you hold the sun shade button it should first engage the rear sunshade, but after a second or so it should engage the window sunshades. |
