ConnectedDrive & Spotify

Hi all,

Enjoying the car 2 days in...first frustration (or user error)... Struggling with Spotify...

When I connect the phone as an external audio source, Spotify track plays and first step song track graphic appears fine. Subsequent ones don't. Also, disappointed only track skip feature is available.

Am I missing accessing Spotify in a direct way throughout go the I-drive connected app menus ?

Hi mate

I load Spotify on the phone, making sure all other apps are not background running or that causes probs

Then plug it into usb

Then select iPhone on idrive

Press back on the circle idrive controller

Spotify is then on the idrive menu in green with the logo

Then select it

Works every time if I do it like this

I only get problems if I have other apps like Netflix that are not totally shut down on the phone, it goes on and off after a track or two if I forget to shut Netflix down for some reason

I tend to find Deezer better than Spotify and can select what ever song/album I like etc.
I always use the USB so it keeps my phone topped up.
