Oil change discount
Just posted this in the 5 series section as well. Has anyone tried these guys? Just saw a link on facebook and signed up. Currently traveling in Europe, but I'm curious if anyone has used them? I will try to schedule an appointment when I get back. The annual memebership is less expensive than an oil change for most of us. Link below gets you 1 month for free.

So far, no service center I have contacted has ever heard of it. They tried calling the phone number to get reimbursed for service and no one picks up the phone or returns messages. Just paid out of pocket for a service that should have been covered. So far, NO good.

As explained in the 5 Series thread below, you can get reimbursed by them directly. But of course, it is your duty to first check with the shop if they take this so that you know up front whether they are paying or if you need to send invoice and get reimbursed yourself via Paypal. For me this is a no brainier - Saving of $165/year on oil changes. I can see how it does not make sense for inexpensive cars where oil changes are $30-40.

To close the loop on this one - went to my Indy shop who have never used Cardash before. I told them about this and they followed the steps (emailed invoice, then called for payment) and got paid on the spot.
I picked up my car without paying an additional penny. With just this oil change I'm up $65, with an additional $100 to use over the next 12 months on another oil change. I bought an additional one for my 2003 540i as well. For anyone in the West Chicagoland area, I highly recommend these guys as they specialize in German cars (mostly BMW and Mercedes) and now they should know what they need to do for future customers. |
