When I go to the track I go in the 11.6's no problem with my 21's. I'll probably be able to go in the 11.4's when spring hits. What's your 60ft time? I never use launch control. Have you tried launching it in MDM mode?

Your main problem is you have a convertible which weighs 500 pounds more than the coupe and had a very positive DA , so especially stock on stock tires you will never see 11's given both those things. You should be able to do a low 12 if you get your 60ft down though . On a better DA best case trap for a stock vert will be around 119-120mph .

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...le_first_test/

Motortrend ran a 12.3@115 in a vert. What were you expecting?

A 2.4 60' is horrendous. With a 2.0 short time, which should be doable, you'll beat the motor trend ET.

yeah but still Im shocked that the vert has so much less speed, you should be trapping at around 120mph...IDK why you would get this car in a vert and bring it to the track anyways...vert means...chillin

It's your 60ft time. It's horrific. Should be 1.70-1.90. Your worst should be 2.0 max. Stock tires pressure?

On the moon?

Sorry. j/k.

To be clear… we are talking about an F13 M6 convertible? Correct?

What have you done for weight reduction? I'm impressed that you've been able to drop 10%.

I wouldn't trust that scale.

Unless you've done some significant weight reduction.

Unladden weight per bmw is 4508.

A scale for measuring weight and a dyno for measuring hp are two VERY different things. Very different.
