Done the deal..picking up LCI 640d this friday

Have to say, sleep is a precious commodity with a 16 month old toddler who catches all the bugs going from nursery. Quietly looking forward to the collection tomorrow.
Have briefed the dealer on all the bad experiences I have had on collecting Carbon Black cars from other dealers - didn't go down the BMW seal and protect route - will have it properly detailed with ceramic coating in the spring. Thinking about which codes to activate next - I assume there is a list on this forum somewhere ? Quick question - the car has the "internet" option - does this allow media content to be played from the web ? e.g Youtube videos, TV channels, etc ? Also has comfort access, Sports pack plus, rear camera, etc Thanks Prashan |

Here she is... Superb service from Stratstone Doncaster
The day started at 05:45... A 160 mile trip in my 9 year old part ex....arrived on time, washed the part-ex and arrived at the dealer. 640d was in the showroom and prepared to perfection...albeit one minor scratch which was quickly addressed. Dealer even gave me a valet bay to at some protection waxes for the body, wheels and engine..
The drive back was great...also learned that I could stream music from my iPhone even though car didn't have the extended Bluetooth option. Car also has split fold rear seats, again...didn't expect this. Still not had time to review the car at home but looking forward to it. Thanks again to you all for helping with my queries leading up to the purchase. Prashan |
