People just can't be happy with what they have...

Spotted this beauty a while back. I just don't understand the point of putting on an M6 badge :
Just be happy with what you have and stop posing. This is a wonderful car as is. No need to make it seem otherwise.

Wow! I see that all the time too!!! It's so sad honestly. A true BMW owner knows the difference so why embarrass yourself? I see this all the time with the 5 series.

That's a BIG DIFFERENCE in cars and $$$. A 640i GC M-Sport is nowhere near the car that than M6 GC is. It's not even a V8 for crying out loud. It's the cheapest GC you can buy and yet he branded it as the most expensive you can buy. You find nothing disturbing and sad about that? So you're on vacation and you're staying at the Hilton but post pictures that your staying at the Waldorf Astoria. That's not sad and pathetic?

6 series and M sport does not make it an M6 this is far from an M6. In fact there's nothing he could do to this car to bring it close to being an M. That's what's sad about it. People are willing to make themselves look foolish to put on appearances. But hell, I've seen far worse. Some people are willing to spend money on M6 parts just to slap it on their 6 series and fool a few clueless people. I love pulling up next to them and just giving them a thumbs up with a sarcastic smile. I can tell by their reactions it makes them feel as shallow as a puddle.

I guess I see it as funny and really don't pay any mind to it. I feel fortunate I have the means to have acquired a M and if they want to pretend than more power to them.

I am contemplating taking off the alpina badge and putting on a 650 badge. Too many questions/attention because of the alpina badge.

Agreed 100%. His car, his money, his choice. It's also our right to form an opinion on his fucked up choices.

True, but you would think that someone who has the means to purchase any 6 series, being that none are really cheap would think a little differently.

I saw an Alpina B6 in Houston couple days ago and was thoroughly impressed. One hell of a car

Don't be shocked if one of those guys with the "body" on it smokes an M6. I've seen 550xi do it and both cars were modded.
