Looking to lower my car and close that ugly wheel gap!! What are the setups you guys are running specifically on GC wit XDrive. From what I have been looking at H&R don't even make springs for XDrive GC....

You guys with the X drive are screwed when it comes to lowering springs from what we've seen on the threads before. Your options I believe were to have custom springs made or to get a coilover kit if they make one, or lastly and most expensive would be a custom air ride system.

Have you seen a coilover lowering kit for the xdrive? I've seen plenty for the F06 650i but it doesn't specify that it can't be installed on the xdrive.

Can you PM me the price as well? I'm actually looking through a few different brands to see which has the best downpipes. One question, will lowering my car void my warranty?

Pm'ed you.
Lowering shouldn't void any warranty.
Even if it does, the only thing can be voided is the warranty on the suspension components.
But after almost 30 years of experience in lowering cars, I never heard that a suspension components got damaged by 1" lowering. Only unsafe and improper lowering (cut spring or heat spring) will put you and your car at risk.

Another thing, I can post pictures of my car on here so you can see the issue. I have the M5 wheels on my car and the tires stick out a little, very unnoticable but, I notice it. Will the 1" lowering cause rubbing?

Are you on the original M5 tire size? 295/30-20 on the rear?
I tried M5 wheels and tires set also and I don't like the way it stick out in the rear.
I believe it is mainly on the tire. If you change to 285/30-20, you will not rub with 1" drop.
Here is a picture of my car on KW coilover.
From this picture, I have raised the front another 1/4".

Yeah, I'm currently running 295/30-20 on the rear. I didn't know you can go down a tire size. Are you sure it'll fit perfectly? The link you sent me keeps showing me a black screen.

Weird, the PM sent already but didn't show on the sent folder.
I just tried sending it again and it says unknown user.
Why don't you email me directly then.

Oh, yes you can go down the size. 295 is too wide on that M5 wheels.

Let's see if you can see the picture as an attachment.
